Clear hourly rates, no long contracts
Weekday rates per hour. Rates differ by area because longer drives between visits cost more.

Getting started
From first call to first visit in about a week

Seven days a week. If we miss you, we call back within the hour.
Free home visit
Rashpal visits within 48 hours, then sends a written plan and price the next day.
Visits begin
Usually within a week, with the carers you have met. We check in after the first week.
About us
Started by a carer, not a franchise
Rashpal has cared for older people in their own homes for more than five years, most recently for her own clients around Shipston. She set up Avon Silver Care to offer the kind of care she would want for her own family: the same faces, enough time, and someone who picks up the phone.
Our office is in Wellesbourne. Every carer is interviewed by Rashpal, checked with an enhanced DBS, trained before their first visit and fully insured.
Questions
What families usually ask
Can you help with washing and dressing?
Not at the moment. Our visits cover companionship, help around the home, meals, shopping, appointments and breaks for family carers. Call us and we will talk through what you need.
Will it be the same carer each time?
Yes, as far as possible. Each person has a small named team of two or three carers who cover holidays and days off between them.
Do I have to sign up for a long time?
No. There is no minimum term. You can change or cancel visits with seven days' notice.
Is there a minimum number of hours?
No weekly minimum. Each visit lasts at least 45 minutes in towns and an hour in villages, so nobody is rushed.
Can the council or NHS pay for your care?
Most of our clients pay privately. If you receive a direct payment from the council, you may be able to use it with us. Call us and we will talk it through.
I live away from my parent. How will I know how things are?
We can assess by video call with you on the line, share visit notes through an app, and call you every month. You can ring Rashpal any time.
